2024 Reflections
Dec 31, 2024
I didn’t achieve most of the goals I had planned for 2024. It wasn’t the year I thought it would be. It was better.
Being in "founder mode" makes it easy to let your personal life take a back seat. You justify it by telling yourself that your professional ambition is the singular focus that fuels success. Over the last couple years, I realized the opposite is true: it’s your personal side—those quiet, grounding moments—that truly fuel your ambitions. Behind every milestone is the unwavering support and love of a partner who believes in you and parents who cheer you on from the sidelines, celebrating each achievement as if it were their own.
2024 gave my personal life more than I could have imagined at the beginning of the year. It was a year of beginnings.
🌉 Moved to the Bay Area. After manifesting it for over a decade–through several failed job interviews and school applications, it finally happened!
🇺🇸 Received our green cards. This lifts the heavy pressure of uncertainty, giving me the freedom to build a business and travel at will.
🏡 Bought and moved in to our first house. After years of moving places and apartments, it’s a relief to finally have a home we can settle into and create lasting memories.
🐣 Became a dad. Nothing could have prepared me for how profoundly this changes you. Love takes on a dimension you never knew existed, so pure, it reshapes your perspective on everything else.
The choices I make today aren’t just about my goals; they’re about the kind of world I want to live in with and leave behind for my child. Every action, every decision now feels bigger, more purposeful.
And that’s why 2025 is going to be even better.
Here’s to 2025—the year of personal health, growth, and building things that truly matter. 🚀
